My Story
The term “storyteller” is often overused in the content and marketing industries, but it best describes what I bring to an organization. For 18 years I have been the tip-of-the-spear at the primary touch points for two NFL teams -- crafting narratives that have elevated the brand into blockbuster hits,, and helped drive value north of $4B . Now, I am positioned to bring diverse brands to life through strategic vision and holistic, engaging campaigns.

In 1997, Tim DeLaney launched his career as a production assistant at Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, delving into coverage of local professional and college teams. This hometown start seeded his passion for narrative storytelling while honing his skills in both the creative and business realms of the industry.
Transitioning to the DC/Baltimore region, Tim seized the role of Executive Producer of Special Projects at the inception of Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. Spearheading projects spotlighting this bustling sports market, he mastered the art of storytelling and adeptly managed content creation under tight deadlines.
When the Washington Redskins sought to establish their in-house content team, Tim was their first choice to lead the charge. Over three seasons, he had the honor of capturing Joe Gibbs' leadership and the resurgence of football success in the Nation's Capital.
In 2008, Tim planted roots in Arizona, directing the Cardinals' content and creative team for a transformative 16-year tenure. Under his leadership, the department became a powerhouse, delivering captivating content and driving fan engagement across all verticals – including a collaborative production with NFL Films.. All Or Nothing: A Season With The Arizona Cardinals became the first ever Amazon Prime NFL program and winner of the National Sports Emmy for Outstanding Serialized Documentary.
